We have data on this - schools were open mask-free and mask-optional in many parts of the US, even Illinois, in the 2020-2021 school year. We also have data on some of the terrible health trends that were driven by social isolation among youth in that same school year. Those facts are almost totally ignored by State-controlled media in the blue states. So every time we have discussions about opening/closing/masking, Team Virus is able to trot out the usual set of fears, unlikely scenarios, and one-off Covid horror stories -- all without fear of being contradicted. That has to end now.
If schools open mask free and no one gets sick and dies, the jig is up for everyone.
